Slow food London will be closely involved with the first  West Norwood Slow food Festival  in south London on Saturday March 21st. Some of our members from Slow Food Norwich also hope to be present at what promises to be a very popular food event in London, we hope the first of many!
Slow food Norwich is now working much more closely with Slow food London as links and friendships have developed over the past couple of years. Dermott the leader of Slow food Norwich was originally a member of Slow food London before helping to set up aSlow Food branch in Norwich, and as he is also originally from north London he has kept in close contact with the London group.

The Slow food group in London is now actively searching for new members to join this fantastic organisation and the event in West Norwood should help spread the Slow Food message, that we should aim to eat good locally produced food and drink.
Slow food in Norwich has developed into a large proactive group since being originally set up in November 2011 and are pleased to be so closely associated with
Slow Food London.
One of the events at the West Norwood Food Festival will be a talk and presentation of Libera Terra produce and wines from Libera in Sicily by Alistair Cameron from Slow food London. Libera is also closely involved with Slow food Norwich as Dermott is active in promoting the Libera Terra message in the UK and also helps with the marketing of their products.
