Slow food Norwich together with Olivaverde took part in the first Trade School to be held in Norwich which was part of the Common Room project held at St Laurence's Church on Saturday 10th November.
The Common Room was held to try and establish community awareness of the Church and to also obtain feedback from the local community and businesses for the Churches Conservation Trust which owns the building. The Trust is looking for ideas and possible projects so as to try and establish the best use for this beautiful Church in the future now that it is no longer used for worship.

Part of the Common Room project was to have a series of classes held by local volunteers at which different skills or topics would be taught and discussed.
Olivaverde and Slow Food Norwich held a class on the Libera Terra organisation in Sicily and also the production of olive oil with a tasting of olive oils from Italy and Gozo.
