Pulse Cafe Norwich Vegetarian event and Wells Fair

Last weekend was a busy time for members and friends of Slow Food Norwich, attending two seperate events in Norwich and also in Wells next the sea.
National vegetarian week was the reason for a great day out at the Pulse Cafe and bar in Norwich last Sunday, at which we had a stand promoting Slow food Norwich and the ideals behind the international Slow Food Movement.

Wells Maltings Open day 27th April 2011

The Wells Maltings project in Wells next the Sea held an open day on Wednesday April 27th to increase awareness of the regeneration project and the various groups and bodies which support the trust.
The weather was excellent if a bit breezy and there were plenty of tourists in the town that day but it took until mid afternoon until large numbers of the public came into the Maltings to look at the stands and exhibits.

Slow Food day at the Forum, Norwich.

Slow Food Norwich is holding their first outdoor event at the Forum in Norwich on Saturday 16th April. The event is being held on theatre plain which is next to the main Forum building and 100 yards from the new Chapelfield Shopping Mall.
The Forum has been very supportive of Slow food Norwich and we hope to hold another Slow Food day there in the Autumn after our other events throughout Norfolk in the summer months.
