Olive Oil Workshop at the Norfolk Food Festival

Slow Food Norwich are pleased to be involved with several events at this years Norfolk Food Festival which takes place throughout September 2011. The festival is a yearly event and is a showcase for local food producers as well as food producers from other countries.

We are pleased that this year a member of Slow Food Senigallia in the Le Marche region of Italy is coming to hold a workshop and tasting of Olive oil at the Pulse Cafe and Bar in Norwich on the evening of Friday 9th September. And...

Pulse Cafe Norwich Vegetarian event and Wells Fair

Last weekend was a busy time for members and friends of Slow Food Norwich, attending two seperate events in Norwich and also in Wells next the sea.
National vegetarian week was the reason for a great day out at the Pulse Cafe and bar in Norwich last Sunday, at which we had a stand promoting Slow food Norwich and the ideals behind the international Slow Food Movement.

Slow Food Day in Norwich

Slow food Norwich had the first of the planned events at the Forum in Norwich on Saturday 16th April and all present thought it was a very successful day.
The weather had been wonderful for several days before Saturday but the morning of the 16th was threatening rain, in the event it was a dry and warm day which brought out the crowds into Norwich for shopping and browsing.
