Slow Food Senigallia in the Le Marche region of Italy was part of the international Slow food movement which celebrated 25 years of Slow food this week.
The membership of Slow food Senigallia held a small food, oil and wine event in one of the Piazza in Senigallia last Saturday to mark the Slow food birthday. The Convivium in Senigallia has nearly 70 members and they are all very active in promoting the message of Slow Food in that part of the Le Marche region.

Slow Food Senigallia is part of the larger Slow Food movement in the Le Marche region on the east coast of Italy. In 2012 Slow Food Norwich hopes to hold a visit and help organise a food event in Senigallia in the autumn, and there are plans that the Senigallia membership will also come and visit Norfolk to visit some of our wonderful Norfolk food producers.
We hope to create more links with other Slow food Convivium throughout the world, concentrating on Canada and Australia where our members already have several strong connections.
