Slow Food Norwich together with the Pulse Cafe Bar in Norwich are holdIng a food event on Friday 9th September as part of the Norfolk Food festival, which this year runs from September 2nd through to October 2nd.
There will be a Mediterranean theme to the evening with Jon the head chef preparing three typical dishes from that area, two main courses and one dessert and tastings of Italian olive oils.



Earlier there will be an olive oil tasting with oils from the Le Marche and Umbrian regions of Italy and also one olive oil from the small Island of Gozo, this oil has also won many prizes in the Terraoliva awards in Israel.
Andrea Tomasetti will be present to talk about his olive oils from Frantoio Montedoro in Le Marche and also about the cultivation and production of fine organic olive oils.
