The prestigious North Norfolk Food Festival was held over two days on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September at Holkham Hall a Stately Home in north west Norfolk. This very popular and growing yearly food event attracted nearly 12,000 visitors this year and we at Slow Food Norwich were pleased that several of our long standing members were present as stallholders and also as guests.
The Festival has now been held for some years at Holkham Hall but only in the past three or four years has it really grown both in popularity and also in size, this year having over sixty exhibitors and stallholders.
Slow food Norwich first became involved with the festival in 2011 when we helped one of our members take part as a stall holder at their first event at Holkham and this year we have had three long term members take part as well as our supporting several other small food businesses that were involved.

Slow Food Norwich plan to hold several events over the autumn and winter in various venues in Norfolk, which will include the beautiful mediaeval Dragon Hall In Norwich, the Wells Maltings theatre in Wells Next the Sea and also several workshops at the Common Room in Norwich.
We also will be working closely with Slow Food London holding events in London which both Slow Food groups have an interest in such as a special winter biodynamic event at  Rudolf Steiner House in Baker Street London.
