Slow Food Norwich is really pleased to be organising a visit  to the Humpty Dumpty Brewery in Reedham in the spring with the help of the owners and Slow Food members Steve and Lesley.
The brewery is in the village of Reedham to the east of Norwich which is famous for its Victorian swing bridge and the name of the brewery originally came from the shape of the trains which used to pass through the village.
Steve and Lesley are keen supporters of Slow Food Norwich and were one of the first members to join the group when we were formed in late 2010 and Steve has been involved with Slow Food in Norfolk and in Italy in the past.

The brewery under its current owners started trading in 2006 and has built up a loyal following in Norfolk and customers now include pubs and restaurants all over the county.
Their range of beers include the very appropriate Railway Sleeper and other great beers with names such as Reedcutter, Little Sharpie and Swallowtail.
The visit to the brewery will be mainly members of Slow food Norwich but also we hope to include some members of Slow Food Italy who are very keen beer drinkers!!
