Slow food Senigallia

Slow Food Senigallia in the Le Marche region of Italy was part of the international Slow food movement which celebrated 25 years of Slow food this week.
The membership of Slow food Senigallia held a small food, oil and wine event in one of the Piazza in Senigallia last Saturday to mark the Slow food birthday. The Convivium in Senigallia has nearly 70 members and they are all very active in promoting the message of Slow Food in that part of the Le Marche region.

Slow Food UK shop in London

I normally try and pop into the Slow Food UK offices in London once or twice a month and yesterday I was pleased to visit the new shop in Neals Yard, Covent Garden. The shop is on the ground floor of the Slow Food building and the offices are now on the first floor.
The shop opens on Monday 27th June and will be stocking produce produced by Slow food members as well as other items which I am sure will prove popular with both existing members and the general public.

Pulse Cafe Norwich Vegetarian event and Wells Fair

Last weekend was a busy time for members and friends of Slow Food Norwich, attending two seperate events in Norwich and also in Wells next the sea.
National vegetarian week was the reason for a great day out at the Pulse Cafe and bar in Norwich last Sunday, at which we had a stand promoting Slow food Norwich and the ideals behind the international Slow Food Movement.
